All drivers of dangerous goods (hazardous goods) that come within the scope of the UK CDG (Carriage of Dangerous Goods Regulations) need to have an ADR Driver Training Certificate.
Here at CPC Nationwide we offer Initial & Refresher Courses.

TANKER COURSES
Tanker drivers will additionally require The Tanks Module.
As a JAUPT approved training centre, CPC Nationwide can offer Driver CPC for drivers who attend either Initial or refresher courses. This means ADR candidates can claim 21 hours (3 modules without tanks) or 28 hours (4 modules with tanks) of CPC without any extra work.
ADR with Tanks - £500

All drivers must bring a passport size photo on the 1st day of the course

ADR training under ADR regulations has to be in the classroom and involves ADR exams set by the SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority).
Please Note:- To gain the certificate a driver must pass a series of written multiple choice examinations.
The Department of Transport stipulates that the driver must do these examinations without any assistance. If you suffer from leaning difficulties you will need to give SQA 4 weeks advanced notice prior to course commencement through us. We will need copies of Doctors and/or medical reports and will need to disclose the information contained to SQA for their consideration and decision.
Under the Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations 2005 affecting drivers under EU 561/2006 working time includes:
Job related training i.e. ADR Training
All staff (other than those in scope of ADR) who's duties concern the carriage of Dangerous Goods whether directly or indirectly by Road, Sea, Rail or Air are required to receive training appropriate to their responsibilities.
Examples are, packers, loaders, pickers, warehouse & forklift operatives, freight forwarding or shipping agency office staff, supervisors, consignees and drivers of non-ADR vehicles.
